Teacher Contracts

Teacher contracts shall be issued and entered into between the District and individual teachers in accordance with The Illinois School Code and shall be looked upon as assuring the services by and the compensation of the teacher in the position for the period designated by the contract.  For tenured teachers covered under the collective bargaining agreement, the Board of Education may take action to ratify an extension of salary followed by notification letters in lieu of teacher contracts.
