Elementary schools are K-4. All District 39 students attend Highcrest Middle School for grades 5 and 6; Wilmette Junior High for grades 7 and 8; and New Trier High School (school district 203) for grades 9 through 12.

District 39 also offers a half-day pre-school Program, Connecting Kids, which operates out of the Romona school building.
