The Mentoring Program in Wilmette District 39 is based on the premise that all members of the school community have the potential to improve their learning and performance. We are devoted to ensuring our instruction is high quality and building the positive, productive relationships necessary for a successful teaching experience. With this in mind, we strive to welcome all teachers new to the district and provide each of them with differentiated support that will help them grow as professionals. The Mentoring Program in Wilmette has a variety of shared experiences along with an individualized plan tailored to the needs of each teacher. There are three prongs to the Mentoring Program, which include Orientation, Academy 39 classes, and Mentoring for Individualized Support. |
