Welcome to Wilmette Junior High School!  We are so proud of our school and the wonderful programs, activities, curriculum, and overall experiences that we are able to provide to our students.  There are three main components that make WJHS the great school it is.  First, we have the high quality teachers that are committed to student growth.  Our teachers go above and beyond for our students and work to ensure success for every child.  Second, the WJHS families are supportive of our school and work with us to build a productive partnership for the benefit of children.  Finally, our students!  They are the smartest, most creative, most caring group of middle level adolescents that I have ever had the privilege to work with.  I am amazed everyday by what our students know and can do.  As a staff we have identified three guiding principles that impact our decisions and how we conduct ourselves.  These principles are:

• Create a collaborative and communicative environment
• Make a commitment to personal growth
• Respect other’s differences

These three simple principles help make our school a great place to teach and learn.  We will continue to refine our perspective and seek out ways to improve the school experience for our students.  As you peruse our website I am sure you will agree that WJHS is a wonderful place for kids, teachers, and families.  Thank you for visiting our website.
